DLA or Date of Last Activity, helps us establish the age of a item. An item's age is very important in factoring our chances of successively  disputing those items on your credit report. The Older the item, better our chances will be.

Public Record items last longer then other items that appears on your credit reports. Some will, if left un-contested remain on your reports, for up to 10 years.

Bankruptcies offer us many opportunities to contest the accuracy of the items listed within the bankruptcies. Often the items and or the bankruptcy itself may be listed in-correctly.

Student Loans and Child Support items are protected by federal and local governments and un-less they're not yours, or listed improperly they can be difficult to remove.

Credit Review Interview Instructions
Please take a moment to look over your credit report. You'll note that the accounts or items on your reports will have code numbers listed that look like R1, I3, O9. We call them RIO numbers.
If you take a look at the chart to the left. It will help you understand what those
RIO numbers mean. You may see Y's L's or other letters, don't get confused, we want the "number" part of a RIO. That number classifies the item's status. That is what's important to us.

If your reports are from Trans Union, Experian or Equifax then you may see them listed as Derogatory or Un- Satisfactory accounts... use the chart to the left to covert them to the proper RIO number

Item's that have a
2 or greater RIO are considered Negative items. On your credit report Negative items may be listed separate from the
Positive items. Please include all items or accounts.

If you don't see any
RIO codes then look a the comments that are on each item, then match them up (as best you can), to the chart on the left, to determine what the RIO number would be. For example; "Account late 60 days" that would be a 2.

Now don't get alarmed by any of the negative numbers. We
need that information, it will help us improve your credit. Remember, it's just what "they" say and the more accurate the information you provide here, the better equipped we are to help remove them. So let's get started by completing the following sentences.
Credit Rating Types
Please count all of the items that have RIO numbers on them and group them by number, by putting all the 1's, 2's 3,s, etc  together. Now, lets start reviewing your credit report with that information.

Age Negative of Items
Now let's look at your reports again. You'll note that the NEGATIVE items (with a 2 or higher RIO) all have dates that reflect the LAST time it was active. We call that a DLA for Date of Last Activity If you look over your report you may see it listed as "last active" or "closed since". The older the date the more likely we will get it removed. Please use that information and complete these sentences;
Of the NEGATIVE items that are on my report, have a DLA that is less or 1 year old.
Of the NEGATIVE items that are on my report, have a DLA that is 1 to 2  years old.
Of the NEGATIVE items that are on my report, have a DLA that is 2 to 3  years old.
